BLACK FAMILY

Throughout history it has been said both negative and positive situations that happen within the black community or "black family" is the prediction of how any other community or family will run.  Do you believe in this theory? Why or Why Not?

  1. I'm sorry, let me get this straight... So the theory is basically saying that the "black family" is the yardstick for how all other communities and families? in the world? or in Western society? I'd love to get clarification about that.

  2. Nope. This is the same as stereotyping. Again unfortunately most of the blacks are not living in the best conditions in America and that's why it could lead to very negative reviews. However, a black family living in extreme poverty is different from a well off one. Once a setting/background changes, the characteristics do as well. I'm always at different blacks' houses and every family is so different than the other.

  3. Now i would like to look more into the comparisons for solid proof, but it has been said that when crack cocaine or heroin hit, it was in the black community first then have spawn off to other communities. They also say about the baby-daddy conundrum where black men don't take care of their children and now other men of other races are picking up this trend...(interesting)
